Landslide blocks road to Manang near Khotro Khola

KATHMANDU: A landslide near Khotro Khola along the Besisahar-Manang road has temporarily blocked traffic, the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) said.

According to TAAN, clearance work has begun following discussions with the Assistant Chief District Officer at the Manang District Administration Office. Authorities are expected to reopen the road within about one and a half hours.

TAAN advised travellers to plan accordingly, saying there was no need to panic or cancel trips.
