In a remarkable mountaineering feat, a young Sherpa climber from the Everest region has summited the world’s highest peak three times through three different routes in less than a year, setting a new milestone in Himalayan climbing history.
Renowned Sherpa climber Mingma Gyalje Sherpa, popularly known as Mingma G, today announced that he would no longer attempt to scale the world’s highest peak, saying that his seventh ascent on May 22 this season was his last.
