Veteran Nepali climber Lakpa Sherpa, also known as Makalu Lakpa, has summitted Carstensz Pyramid (4,884m), Oceania’s highest peak, three times within just five days.
Nepali climber Diki Lhamu Lama reached the summit of Ama Dablam (6,812m) in just over 13 hours on October 23, according to the expedition organizers 8K Expeditions.
A team of Italian and Austrian climbers has successfully summited Mt. Kimshung (6,781m), also known as Tsangbu Ri, in Nepal’s Langtang National Park, establishing a new route on the mountain’s northeast face.
