Kili Pemba Sherpa completes all 14 eight-thousanders with Nanga Parbat summit, joins history's elite
3 July 2026Kili Pemba Sherpa, one of Nepal's most accomplished high-altitude climbers, completed his lifelong quest to summit all 14 of the world's 8,000-metre peaks on Friday morning, reaching the top of Nanga Parbat (8,125m) alongside fellow Sherpa Lakpa Chhiri Sherpa and Chinese climber Wang Zhong in what Imagine Nepal Managing Director Mingma G described as a landmark moment for Nepali mountaineering.
