MANANG: The Annapurna Circuit Trek destination of Manang received 7,200 tourists during Baisakh 2083, according to the National Trust for Nature Conservation's Annapurna Conservation Area Project.
Of the total visitors, 6,231 were from non-SAARC countries, with Israel topping the list at 1,209 visitors, followed by other international destinations.
Another 969 tourists arrived from SAARC countries, the vast majority from India at 961.
The figures reflect continued growth in tourism activity in the Annapurna region, one of Nepal's most popular trekking destinations.
