19 May 2026Polish alpinist Bartosz Kacper Ziemski on Tuesday scripted mountaineering history by summiting Mt Everest (8,848.86m) without supplemental oxygen and skiing down from the top, just one week after completing an identical feat on Mt Lhotse (8,516m), making him the first person ever to ski descend both peaks in a single season without oxygen.
