Snow clearing underway on Tilicho Lake trail as weather improves

MANANG: Local residents and members of the Khangsar Tourism Management Committee are clearing snow from the trail between Tilicho Base Camp and Tilicho Lake as weather conditions improve in the region.

The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), under the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), issued the update on Sunday night, warning that snow remains on several sections of the trail.

Trekkers have been advised to exercise caution, as some stretches remain slippery. ACAP has recommended carrying trekking poles and crampons, wearing appropriate gear and following safety guidelines.

Trekkers have also been urged to check the latest trail conditions and local advisories before and during their journey.
