KATHMANDU: The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is set to hold the PATA Gold Awards 2026, with entries now open for tourism organisations and professionals across the Asia-Pacific region.
According to the PATA Nepal Chapter, submissions for the prestigious tourism awards will remain open until May 15, 2026, while entries submitted by March 31 will receive a 50 percent early-bird discount.
The awards recognise excellence, innovation and leadership in the travel and tourism industry and have been honouring outstanding initiatives across the region since 1984.
This year, the awards will feature two Grand Title winners—for Marketing and Sustainability & Social Responsibility—along with 27 Gold Awards across multiple categories including destination marketing, community-based tourism, climate action, cultural heritage preservation and travel media.
The winners will be announced and honoured during the PATA Gold Awards 2026 Gala Dinner, to be held alongside the PATA Travel Mart 2026 in Sarawak.
According to PATA, the winning projects will also be showcased during the event, offering recipients international exposure and opportunities to engage with tourism stakeholders, buyers and exhibitors from across the Asia-Pacific region.
