Nepal showcases adventure tourism at Travel & Adventure Show New York 2026

NTB, TAAN and six private companies promote Nepal in key US source market
KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in coordination with the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), is participating in the Travel & Adventure Show New York 2026, being held on January 24–25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York.
NTB said the participation aims to strengthen Nepal’s visibility in the United States, currently the country’s second-largest source market for inbound tourists, and to engage directly with travel trade partners and potential travellers.
Six Nepali tourism companies are representing the country alongside NTB and TAAN at the Nepal Pavilion (Booth No. 515). They include Asian Heritage Treks & Travels, Explore Vacation, Friends Adventure Team Trekking & Mountaineering, Himalayan Glacier Adventure & Travel Company, Nepal Vision Treks & Expeditions, and Touch Kailash Travels & Tours.
According to NTB, the pavilion is showcasing Nepal’s trekking, adventure, and travel experiences, highlighting the country’s natural landscapes, cultural heritage and diverse adventure tourism offerings to the American market.
The Travel & Adventure Show New York is one of the major consumer travel shows in the US, drawing travel professionals and adventure enthusiasts from across the country.
