KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has successfully concluded its participation in the Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) 2025, making a lasting impact on Chinese travel trade representatives and prospective travelers. 

Held from June 27–29 at the China International Exhibition Centre, Beijing, the fair served as a key platform to showcase Nepal’s diverse tourism offerings.

Located at Booth B612 in Hall 6, the Nepal Pavilion drew significant footfall throughout the event, garnering high interest in Nepal’s soft adventure, spiritual and cultural circuits, and short-haul getaways. Visitors and trade delegates expressed strong curiosity about connectivity, trekking routes, seasonal preferences, and affordable packages. Nepal's active presence and visitor engagement earned it the “Best Popularity Award” at BITE 2025, according to the NTB.

NTB conducted a destination presentation on the sidelines, highlighting Nepal’s unique blend of nature, adventure, heritage, and hospitality. A short quiz and souvenir giveaway session added an interactive touch, promoting Nepal’s image among Chinese visitors.

On the second day, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka, accompanied by senior officials from the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, visited the pavilion. He commended the joint efforts of NTB and private sector representatives in enhancing Nepal’s visibility in the Chinese market and encouraged continued presence in both first and second-tier cities.

The pavilion showcased Nepal’s rich culture and thrilling Himalayan adventures, with participating companies promoting a variety of travel experiences. Representing Nepal at BITE 2025 were Pearl Holidays Pvt. Ltd., Outshine Adventure Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Himalayan International Travel Company Pvt. Ltd., Journey DMC Pvt.
