KATHMANDU: Nepal highlighted its tourism resilience and rich travel offerings at the 12th Asia Tourism Fair 2025, which opened Thursday in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Nepali Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari, speaking as a special guest at the inaugural ceremony, said Nepal’s tourism industry has repeatedly bounced back from crises, underscoring the country’s enduring appeal for international visitors. He emphasized the need to deepen tourism cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between Nepal and Bangladesh for mutual benefit.

The Asia Tourism Fair, running from September 18 to 20 in Dhaka, brings together tourism professionals from across Asia to foster cross-border collaboration and spotlight emerging destinations.
Nepal is participating as the Prime Partner Country with a 16-member delegation led by the Nepal Tourism Board. The team includes tour operators, travel agencies, and hoteliers presenting Nepal’s diverse adventure, cultural, and leisure attractions to regional stakeholders.
