Foreign tourist arrivals in Annapurna Conservation Area rise in Bhadra

KATHMANDU: A total of 17,913 foreign tourists visited the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) in Bhadra, according to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP).
Of the total visitors, 5,737 were international tourists from outside the SAARC region, while 12,176 were from SAARC countries.
The figure represents an increase of 1,638 visitors compared with the same month last year.
The Annapurna Conservation Area is one of Nepal’s major trekking destinations, covering parts of Kaski, Lamjung, Myagdi, Mustang and Manang districts.
