Nine climbers summit Lobuche East Peak with 8K Expeditions

KATHMANDU: Nine climbers successfully reached the summit of Lobuche East Peak (6,119 meters) early morning on October 26, according to the expedition organiser, 8K Expeditions.
They reached the summit at at 5:30 a.m., the company said.
The successful summiteers include Andrew Alexander Burnett Clarke, Hyaden John Nelson, Patrick James Newell, Lachlan Sewart Sowerby, and Leigh Ronald Anderson, along with Nepali climbers Nima Sherpa, Chhewang Lama Sherpa, Dawa Tenzi Sherpa, and Ming Nurbu Sherpa.
The ascent follows weeks of preparation and acclimatization at Everest Base Camp, the expedition company said.
8K Expeditions expressed gratitude to the climbers and Sherpa guides for their teamwork, leadership, and commitment to safety throughout the expedition.
