Nine climbers from Namas Adventure scale Himlung Himal

KATHMANDU: A team of nine climbers from Namas Adventure successfully reached the summit of Mt. Himlung Himal (7,126m) on Saturday.
The team comprised four international mountaineers -Jan from the Czech Republic, Ved Prakash from New Zealand, Indrek from Estonia, and Alec Ferguson from the United States. They were guided by an experienced Sherpa crew — Pemba Tenzin Sherpa, Nawang Rapke Sherpa, Pasang Sona Sherpa, Ang Sona Sherpa, and Phurba Gyalzen Sherpa.
All members reached the summit and returned safely marking another successfull ascent in the autumn climbing season, said the Namas Adventure.
Situated in the Manaslu region near the Nepal–Tibet border, Mt. Himlung Himal continues to attract experienced international climbers seeking technical yet attainable high-altitude ascents.
