Fourteen climbers, including Purnima Shrestha, successfully summit Mt. Himlung Himal with Satori Adventure

KATHMANDU: A total of 14 climbers, including Nepali mountaineer and photojournalist Purnima Shrestha, have successfully reached the summit of Mt. Himlung Himal (7,126m) under the banner of Satori Adventure.
The team achieved multiple summits on October 14, 20, and 21, 2025, marking a safe and successful expedition in the autumn season, according to Rishi Ram Bhandari, Managing Director of Satori Adventure.
The international team comprised Evelyn Kroosing, Ligal Dror, Krzysztof Henryk Wieczorek, Slawomir Maksymilian Krok, Fabrice Roger de Vincenzi, and Nicholas Ellul.
The Nepali climbers included Purnima Shrestha and Sherpas Lakpa Tasi Sherpa, Pehma Sherpa, Furte Sherpa, Pemba Tamang, Pasang Gyaljen Sherpa, Mingma Tenzi Sherpa, Dawa Nurbu Sherpa, and Phurtenji Sherpa.
According to Bhandari, all climbers and Sherpas returned safely to base camp, achieving 100 percent summit success on Mt. Himlung Himal this autumn.
