Bulgarian, Argentine climbers summit Makalu with 14 Peaks Expedition

KATHMANDU: A joint team of Bulgarian and Argentine mountaineers reached the summit of Makalu (8,485m) on Saturday morning, guided by 14 Peaks Expedition.

Bulgarian climber Georgi Emilov and Argentine Catalina Giusti topped out alongside Sherpa team members Fura Tsering Sherpa, Phunurbu Sherpa, and Temba Sherpa.

14 Peaks Expedition wished the team a safe descent to Base Camp following the successful ascent.
