KATHMANDU: Buddha Air has advised its passengers to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at least one hour earlier than the time mentioned on their tickets, citing ongoing upgrade works at the airport.

According to the airline, renovation and upgradation activities are currently underway in several areas of TIA, including the aircraft parking apron and taxiways. As a result, the parking area for aircraft has been temporarily shifted farther from the terminal building.

The airline has requested all travelers to factor in these changes to ensure timely check-in and a smooth travel experience.

"We sincerely request all passengers to check in 1 hour earlier than the flight time mentioned on the ticket," Buddha Air stated in its official message.

TIA remains country’s dominant international airport and a key domestic aviation hub, handling thousands of passengers daily.
